OCS pORT OF ANTWERP ACTIVITY REPORT 2021
The Operation Clean Sweep® (OCS) Port of Antwerp Activity Report 2021 elaborated by Plastics Europe Belgium together with its value chain partners (Alfaport Voka, essenscia, Febetra, Port of Antwerp and Transport en Logisitek Vlaanderen) gives an overview of the efforts made by the members of the Antwerp Zero Pellet Loss Platform (polymers producers, logistics and transport companies) in respect to OCS implementation.
The report also presents the progress made on the implementation of the 2019 Action Plan for Antwerp. It also highlights the remaining challenges that the Platform would like to tackle further.
Operation Clean Sweep® (OCS) is an international programme designed to prevent the loss of plastic granules (pellets, flakes and powders) during handling by the various entities in the plastics value chain and their release into the environment.
